This policy explains what information Lightning Retail ("we," "us") collects through lightningretail.com and our tools, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, email address, and any message you send when you contact us or ask for updates.
- Numbers you enter into our calculators: our calculators run in your web browser. The numbers you type in are not sent to us or stored unless you choose to send your results to us.
- Information you choose to send us: if you opt in to send calculator results (for example, monthly sales volume, fee totals, and card mix) along with your name and email, we receive that information so we can respond to your request.
- Purchases: our products are sold through our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com, and through marketplaces such as Etsy. They process your payment and billing details under their own privacy policies. We receive your name, email, and order details, but not your full card number.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider may log standard information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited for security and performance.
How we use information
- To deliver products and subscriptions, and to provide support.
- To respond to requests you make, including requests to review calculator results.
- To send product updates or newsletters you've asked for. Every email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the site secure and working.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't ask for, or store, full card numbers, bank account numbers, or passwords.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers that help us run the business (for example, payment and checkout, email delivery, and hosting), when required by law, or with your permission.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected. Calculator results you choose to send us are deleted after your request has been handled. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by emailing james@lightningretail.com.
Children
Our site and tools are for business owners and are not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
